UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - April 20, 2009 - NBC.com will today debut the premiere of the all-new original webseries "Heroes: Nowhere Man." Extending the on-air story into the digital space, "Nowhere Man" follows Eric Doyle ("The Puppetmaster") as he sheds his infatuation for his favorite cheerleader and tries to lead a normal life.
"Nowhere Man" stars David H. Lawrence XVII as Eric Doyle, a "special" with the ability to control people as if they were marionettes. When fans last saw Doyle on-air he had escaped from Level 5, a prison facility run by the Company. Now in "Nowhere Man," he attempts to navigate the world as a "regular" guy without using his abilities. Fans can look forward to a familiar face dropping by to give Doyle some help along the way.
Doyle's story also extends to other parts of the Emmy-winning "Heroes" Digital Experience. In the latest "Heroes" iStory launching Tuesday, April 21, fans will learn additional details about Doyle that help them solve key "Heroes" mysteries. And Doyle also appears in the "Heroes" graphic novel in Chapters 107 and 133.
New webisodes of "Nowhere Man" will launch each Monday throughout its run on NBC.com. The webseries was directed by Chris Hanada and Tanner Kling, written by Timm Keppler and Jim Martin, and stars Brian Kimmet as Kyle Dilman and Amy Sloan as Lauren Shapiro, in addition to David Lawrence.
