LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- ABC Family has pulled its freshman comedy "Sophie" while fellow newcomer "Roommates" is also set to exit its lineup early.
Scheduling updates released by the network this morning confirm that the Canadian import has been bounced from its lineup effective immediately. The series, which ran for two seasons on the CBC, averaged a 0.15 rating among adults 18-49 for its five-week run on the cable channel.
As for its lead-in "Roommates," the multi-camera half-hour will air its eight remaining installments in two-hour blocks on Monday, April 27 and Monday, May 4 starting at 9:00/8:00c. To date the series has averaged a 0.25 rating in said demographic.
Both shows had originally been set to run through June 15, with new drama "Make It or Break It" taking over the Monday, 9:00/8:00c slot on June 22.
"Greek," which is averaging a 0.35 rating among adults 18-49, will continue on Mondays at 8:00/7:00c through June 15 before returning for its third season on September 14.
