"MILLION DOLLAR PASSWORD" RETURNS TO CBS ON SUNDAY, MAY 24
Emmy Award Winner Regis Philbin Hosts This Modern Update of One of Television's Classic Game Shows
MILLION DOLLAR PASSWORD, hosted by Emmy Award winner Regis Philbin, returns to Sundays (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) beginning May 24, on the CBS Television Network.
CBS's MILLION DOLLAR PASSWORD features a modern update of one of television's classic game shows with big celebrities, big money and big stakes. Contestants team up with celebrities and have the potential to win up to $1 million. As the designated celebrity and contestant take turns being the clue-giver and clue-receiver, one word hints are given to determine that round's PASSWORD. If the player and the celebrity can work together to successfully give and receive clues in multiple rounds, the contestant may be able to guess the MILLION DOLLAR PASSWORD, and win the cash that goes along with it.
Last summer, in its Sunday (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) time period, MILLION DOLLAR PASSWORD (5.9/10, 9.03m) was first in viewers and second in adults 25-54 (2.4/07). The shows' return in December averaged 10.11m viewers, placing second in its time period behind Sunday night football.
MILLION DOLLAR PASSWORD is produced by FremantleMedia North America, Inc. Vincent Rubino is executive producer.
