LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- A&E has shored up the remainder of its summer slate, confirming a launch date for newcomer "Hammertime" as well as the return of "The Cleaner."
This exclusive news comes as the cable channel preps for its upfront presentation later this week.
The Benjamin Bratt-led drama will kick off its second season on Tuesday, June 23 at 10:00/9:00c. "Cleaner" fans can also keep an eye out for "Extreme Interventionist: The Man Behind The Cleaner," a one-hour special on Monday, June 15 at 9:00/8:00c.
Meanwhile, "Hammertime" will bow on Sunday, June 14 at 10:00/9:00c. The half-hour series tracks the life of rapper Stanley "MC Hammer" Burrell, his wife Stephanie and their family of six ranging in age from 3 to 21.
The duo will help give the network original programming on five nights each week:
