LINDSAY SLOANE JOINS FOX BROADCASTING COMPANY AS CO-HEAD OF DRAMA DEVELOPMENT
Lee Hollin Promoted to Manager, Drama Programming
Development executive Lindsay Sloane has joined Fox Broadcasting Company as Co-Head of Drama Development, it was announced today by Matt Cherniss, Executive Vice President, Programming for FOX, to whom she reports. Ms. Sloane will jointly lead FOX's drama programming department alongside co-head Terence Carter, and together, they will serve as the primary creative liaisons with writers and producers developing scripted dramas for the network. In addition, Sloane and Carter will share oversight of all administrative matters relating to drama development for FOX's primetime series.
"Lindsay is a gifted scripted series development executive with good taste and an impressive track record," said Mr. Cherniss. "Combined with Terence's great relationships and strong creative instincts, we've established the ideal team to lead the next generation of drama development at FOX."
Mr. Cherniss also announced today that Lee Hollin has been promoted to Manager, Drama Programming. Mr. Hollin will be responsible for helping develop one-hour drama scripts, oversee drama pilots and scout writer and director talent for future development and staffing.
Ms. Sloane joins FOX from USA Network, where she served as Vice President, Original Scripted Series Programming. In that role, she found and developed the network's hit series, "Psych," and oversaw current production of "The Dead Zone" and "The 4400." Prior to joining USA Network, Ms. Sloane served as a Vice President at Gran Via Productions/Mark Johnson Productions where she developed new series for the company's network partners and oversaw current production of and day-to-day activity on "The Guardian." Ms. Sloane has also held positions at Imagine Entertainment and International Creative Management.
Ms. Sloane holds a Bachelor of Science in Speech from Northwestern University.
