Viewers will get to walk down memory lane during a special premiere night marathon of Rev's favorite episodes. Additionally, they can celebrate and honor fathers everywhere as MTV airs a "Run's House" Father's Day marathon on June 21 beginning at 5:00pm ET/PT with a look back at past favorite episodes coupled with a preview of clips from the new season. Through the up's and downs, the Simmons family will laugh and learn from a father who truly knows best.
The series will kick off with a quick family get-away to Hawaii, where the Simmons prove that a strong family grows up without growing apart. As the season unfolds, viewers will witness the serious side of Run, as the family deals with the arrest of Jojo for the possession of illegal substances. Throughout the season, the family faces a host of new challenges, but shows that Rev Run and the family can keep it all together through tough love and unyielding support.
From the recent arrest of JoJo to the daily stresses of parenting, the season dives into real issues that families across America face every day. Viewers will watch as each family member confronts a number of personal challenges and deals with balancing individual goals. Yet, Rev Run always put parenting first and proves that a busy, bicoastal and privileged family can still be a close-knit and down-to-earth one.
Throughout the special Father's Day themed marathon, Diggy and Russy will be the voice of a special tribute to some of our favorite celebrity dads. Along with sneak peeks at the new season, the marathon will feature eight past episodes that will remind viewers of all the great "Dad and me" moments from the past five seasons of "Run's House."
