EMMY AND SAG AWARD WINNER ERIC McCORMACK TO GUEST STAR ON MULTIPLE EPISODES OF "THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE" THIS FALL
LOS ANGELES, July 14 - Emmy and SAG Award winner Eric McCormack ("Will & Grace") will guest star on multiple episodes of THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE this fall, during the show's upcoming fifth season, airing Wednesdays, (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
McCormack will play a therapist who shares office space with Christine's brother, Matthew (Hamish Linklater), and begins a complicated therapist/love interest relationship with Christine.
McCormack is best known for his role as Will Truman in the comedy "Will & Grace," on which "The New Adventures of Old Christine" creator and executive producer Kari Lizer served as a writer and co-executive producer. His other television credits include "Trust Me," "The Andromeda Strain," "Dead Like Me," "Ally McBeal" and "The Outer Limits," among others.
THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus in a comedy about a divorced working mom who's juggling the daily stresses of motherhood and work. Her therapist brother, Matthew, helps Christine care for her 13-year old son and serves as her emotional rock. Christine gets along with her ex-husband, but since he's in a serious relationship, she feels the pressure to take the same leap.
