BRAVO EARNS A RECORD BREAKING 12 NOMINATIONS FOR 61ST ANNUAL PRIMETIME EMMY AWARDS
Network Dominates Outstanding Reality Competition Category For A Third Consecutive Year - "Top Chef" And "Project Runway" Score Nods For Series And Hosts
Emmy-Award Winning Kathy Griffin Receives Two Nominations
NEW YORK - July 16, 2009 - Bravo was recognized with a record-breaking 12 Primetime Emmy Nominations from the Academy of Television Arts & Science for the 61st Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. This marks the network's third consecutive year to dominate the Outstanding Reality Competition program category garnering nominations for both "Top Chef" - the No. 1 food show on cable - and "Project Runway." The series' hosts Padma Lakshmi and Tom Colicchio ("Top Chef") and Heidi Klum ("Project Runway") were also honored with nominations for Outstanding Host for a Reality Competition Program. Bravo continues as the only cable network to ever receive an Emmy nomination in both these categories, and the only network, including broadcast, to have two shows nominated in the Competition category - also tied with the most noms for Host with CBS. Both "Project Runway" and "Top Chef" are produced by Magical Elves.

The two-time Emmy-Award winning "Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List" currently airing its fifth season on Mondays at 10 p.m. ET/PT, received its fourth consecutive nomination in the Outstanding Reality Program category. Griffin, who also will serve as the host of the 2009 Primetime Creative Arts Emmy� Awards, is nominated for her Bravo stand-up special "She'll Cut A Bitch" for Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Special. The fourth season of "D-List" was produced by Picture This Television and "She'll Cut A Bitch" was produced by Rickmill Productions for Bravo.
With "Top Chef's" third consecutive nomination in the Outstanding Reality Competition program category and the additional four nominations announced this morning, Bravo's "Top Chef" has received a total of 10 Emmy nominations and one win since its premiere. Other nominations include Outstanding Cinematography for Reality Programming, Outstanding Picture Editing for Reality Programming and Outstanding Directing for Nonfiction Programming. The sixth installment, "Top Chef: Las Vegas," kicks off on Wednesday, August 19 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. with a new cast of 17 hopeful chef'tesants. Magical Elves' Dan Cutforth, Jane Lipsitz, Liz Cook and Casey Kriley are executive producers. Nan Strait serves as co-executive producer.
"Project Runway" on Bravo earned its fifth consecutive nod in the Reality Competition category, Heidi Klum is nominated in the Reality Host category and the series scored two more nominations for Outstanding Picture Editing for Reality Programming and Outstanding Directing for Nonfiction Programming, marking the series' sixteenth nomination. "Project Runway" is co-produced by The Weinstein Company and Miramax Films.
Bravo Digital Media was also honored with a nomination for Outstanding Creative Achievement in Interactive Media - Nonfiction for digital efforts on "Top Chef."
