LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- Syfy will open its fall schedule with the third season premiere of "Destination Truth" as well as a trio of original movies, including its small screen remake of "Children of the Corn."
Advance listings released by the network today confirm "Truth" will roll out on Wednesday, September 9 at 10:00/9:00c following "Ghost Hunters." "Hunters," as previously announced, returns with new episodes on Wednesday, August 19 at 9:00/8:00c.
Meanwhile, "Eureka" and "Warehouse 13" will wrap their current seasons on Friday, September 18 at 9:00/8:00c and Tuesday, September 22 at 9:00/8:00c, respectively.
As for "Corn," the Donald P. Borchers-helmed update will premiere on Saturday, September 26 at 9:00/8:00c. Daniel Newman, David Anders, Kandyse McClure and Preston Bailey co-star. Also due in September: "Lightning Strikes," featuring Kevin Sorbo, on Saturday, September 12 at 9:00/8:00c and "Book of Blood," from horror guru Clive Barker, on Sunday, September 20 at 9:00/8:00c.
And finally, the cable channel has quietly shifted its TV bow of the direct-to-DVD feature "Dead Like Me: Life After Death" from Sunday, August 16 to Sunday, August 23 at 9:00/8:00c.
