Now in its fourth season, the eight-episode series reveals the struggles from try-outs to training camp as girls compete to earn a spot on America's most-loved cheerleading squad.
Back to whip the new recruits and seasoned veterans into top performance shape are Kelli Finglass, director of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders; Jay Johnson, the no-nonsense fitness trainer; and Judy Trammell, team choreographer. Proving it takes more than just good looks, contestants range from a drag racer to a professional U.S. figure skater, a lawyer and a reigning beauty queen. Finglass, Johnson and Trammell test the rookies for the tough physical and mental stamina required, and wannabes must compete toe-to-toe with veteran cheerleaders for a coveted spot in training camp.
