CBS TELEVISION DISTRIBUTION RENEWS THE DOCTORS FOR TWO MORE SEASONS IN 91% OF THE COUNTRY

CBS Television Stations, Gannett, Scripps Howard, Weigel Broadcasting, Cox Television, Belo and LIN TV Stations All Reup Through 2012

LOS ANGELES (December 14, 2009) -- CBS Television Distribution has renewed its hit, Emmy-nominated talk show, THE DOCTORS, from Stage 29 Productions, for two more seasons in 91% of the country, it was announced today by Joe DiSalvo, President of Sales for CBS Television Distribution.

The renewal will take the show through 2011-2012, its fourth season. THE DOCTORS is renewed in 48 of the top 50 markets, including stations from the following groups: CBS Television Stations, Gannett, Scripps Howard, Weigel Broadcasting, Cox Television, Belo, LIN TV, Sunbeam, Newport, Raycom, Fisher and Media General.

"Jay McGraw and his team on THE DOCTORS have done a great job producing a quality show, and viewers and stations clearly agree," DiSalvo said. "We look forward to THE DOCTORS being part of our station partners' lineups for years to come."

"We have more ideas than we know what to do with, so we are thrilled that THE DOCTORS has been renewed for two more years beyond the current deal," said Jay McGraw, executive producer of THE DOCTORS and president and CEO of Stage 29 Productions, which produces the show. "Our approach has always been to put the viewer first, so the staff works hard every day to produce an informative, entertaining show that viewers truly want to see. This renewal really affirms that we're hitting the right notes."

Currently in its second season, THE DOCTORS is averaging a 2.0 HH AA% rating season to date. For the recently concluded November sweep, THE DOCTORS scored a 2.0 HH AA%, growing +18% from November 2008, which was the largest household rating increase of any show in syndication.

THE DOCTORS, which debuted in September 2008, was nominated for a 2009 Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Talk Show/Informative in its first season.

Story-driven, dynamic and interactive, THE DOCTORS features a team of four top practicing professionals, each with a different specialty - ER physician Dr. Travis Stork; obstetrician and gynecologist Dr. Lisa Masterson; plastic surgeon and reconstructive surgery expert Dr. Andrew Ordon; and pediatrician Dr. James Sears. Each day, they discuss compelling, real-life experiences of the show's guests and then weigh in, disseminating valuable information about health, medical care and drugs in a compelling, informal, easy-to-understand and entertaining format.

THE DOCTORS, taped in front of a live audience in Hollywood, is produced by Jay McGraw's production company, Stage 29 Productions, and distributed by CBS Television Distribution. Jay McGraw, Carla Pennington and Dr. Phil McGraw are executive producers. Andrew Scher is co-executive producer.

CBS Television Distribution is the preeminent company in worldwide television syndication. CTD produces or distributes 11 first-run series and holds the largest internationally distributed television library at 70,000 hours strong. CTD is a unit of CBS Corp.
