LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- A&E is adding even more "paranormal" to its lineup.
"Paranormal Cops," which follows a team of Chicago-area police officers who also work as paranormal investigators, will launch Tuesday, January 19 at 10:30/9:30c on the cable channel. Said half-hour will lead out of new episodes of the similarly-themed "Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal" (9:00/8:00c) and "Paranormal State" (10:00/9:00c).
Charlie Debevoise and Mark Hickman are the executive Producers for North South Productions with Robert Sharenow and Elaine Frontain Bryant overseeing for A&E.
Also due in January: new seasons of "The First 48" and "Manhunters: Fugitive Task Force" on Thursday, January 14 at 9:00/8:00c and 10:00/9:00c, respectively.
The aforementioned group will join current series "Intervention" (Mondays at 9:00/8:00c), "Hoarders" (Mondays at 10:00/9:00c), "Dog the Bounty Hunter" (Wednesdays at 9:30/8:30c), "Steven Seagal: Lawman" (Wednesdays at 10:00/9:00c) and "The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty" (Sundays at 10:00/9:00c, concluding January 17).
