When law enforcement needs to catch the nation's most dangerous fugitives... They call the Manhunters!

"MANHUNTERS: FUGITIVE TASK FORCE" RETURNS FOR A SECOND SEASON ON THURSDAY, JANUARY 14 AT 10PM ET/PT ON A&E

NEW YORK, NY, JANUARY 8, 2010 - They are the best-of-the-best, hunting down the worst-of-the-worst... and they're back! "Manhunters: Fugitive Task Force" returns to A&E for a second action-packed season with back-to-back episodes on Thursday, January 14th at 10PM ET/PT.

Tracking everyone from triple-homicide felons to major international fugitives, they are the elite agents of the NY/NJ Division of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, working to catch the most violent criminals on the run. Since its inception in May of 2002, the Task Force has apprehended 35,751 fugitives.

This season will follow Commander Lenny DePaul and his task force as they get personally involved in a case and meet the parents of a young musician who was gunned down. Deputy Roland Ubaldo makes it his personal quest to find the fugitive before the trail goes cold. Detective Roxanne Lopez and Deputy Sean McCluskey go after a fugitive suspected of killing a man and burying him in an industrial freezer. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Supervisor Tommy Kilbride gets word that an exiled immigrant has illegally re-entered the United States and has been working as a silent partner in a popular Latin nightclub in upper Manhattan. Deputy Michelle "Michy" Mendez and Senior Inspector Mike Romani receive a priority sex offender case which takes them on a hunt across New York City; and long-time partners Detective Kevin Searing and Detective Sergeant Luddie Austin take on a challenging hunt for a fugitive they've caught once before, but he's since graduated to more serious crimes and the pressure to get him off the street takes them through four states.

Commander Lenny DePaul, ICE Supervisor Tommy Kilbride, Deputy Michelle "Michy" Mendez, Detective Roxanne Lopez and Senior Inspector Mike Romani return and newcomers to the series include Deputy Roland Ubaldo and Detective Sergeant Luddie Austin both who recently served in Operation Iraqi Freedom; Detective Barry Johnson, who boasts 20 years of law enforcement experience under his belt; and Detective Kevin Searing who used to work with Autistic children before joining the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office.

Robert Sharenow and Laura Fleury are executive producers for A&E. "Manhunters: Fugitive Task Force" is produced for A&E Network by Stars & Stripes Media, Inc. Executive producers are Gary Tarpinian, Stuart Goodman and Vincent Scarza. Co-executive producer is Paninee Theeranuntawat. Supervising producers are Sonia Slutsky and Siobhan Walshe.
