LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- Jerry Bruckheimer has eight shows on television and he's hoping to add three more.
Jerry Bruckheimer Television chief Jonathan Littman broke down the trio - which are the focus of their 2010-2011 development slate - for me at the TCA Winter Press Tour:
-- At NBC the company has "Chase," from "Cold Case" executive producer Jennifer Johnson, about a fugitive recovery squad. "[It's] a really high adrenaline, set in the west, show. It's great."
-- Over at ABC there's "Hopscotch," a high-concept crime drama. "[It] focuses on the five most compelling days in a murder investigation," Littman explained. Chris Levinson ("Law & Order") penned the hour.
-- Also at the Alphabet is the newly revealed "The Whole Truth." "[It's] a legal drama that is focused on showing evenly both the defense and the prosecution as they build and try a case. [It's] a very character driven drama that focuses on a prosecutor and a defense attorney." Tom Donaghy ("Without a Trace") is the writer.
All three are set up at Warner Bros. Television where Bruckheimer has an overall deal. Bruckheimer and Littman then will executive produce with the company's KristieAnne Reed also serving as a co-executive producer.
