Exclusive: TLC Reveals First Wave of Summer Premieres

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- TLC is gearing up for a busy summer as the cable channel plans to have nearly a dozen original series on the air during any given week.

On tap are newcomers "Mall Cops: Mall of America" (May 27) and "Battle of the Wedding Planners" (June 4) as well as new seasons of "Cake Boss" (May 31), "One Big Happy Family" (June 1), "The Little Couple" (June 1), "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant" (June 9), "Toddlers and Tiaras" (June 2) and "Say Yes To The Dress" (April 23).

Both "Mall Cops" and "Wedding Planners" originated as specials on the network last year (on October 15 and November 13, respectively).

All of the aforementioned dates were confirmed by a TLC spokesperson this afternoon.

Also rumored to be on the horizon in the coming months - albeit unconfirmed - are "Just Kate," Kate Gosselin's Jon-less reality series; and "Police Women of Memphis," a third edition of the franchise.

Here's a breakdown of all of TLC's upcoming series, with effective dates in parenthesis:
