USA Network's "Royal Pains" Begins New Season on June 3 with a Selection of Clever, Branded Products

"Royal Pains" Returns Thursday, June 3 at 10:00 p.m. (ET/PT)

UNIVERSAL CITY, CA - June 1, 2010 - The NBC Universal Television Consumer Products Group and the NBC Experience Store are marking the return of USA Network's hit series "Royal Pains" with a variety of branded products. Series leads "Dr. Hank Lawson" (Mark Feuerstein) and his brother "Evan R.Lawson" (Paulo Costanzo), get their own talking bobblehead figures and other new products will include a "HankMed" digital thermometer, "HankMed" branded T-shirts, water bottles, baseball caps and mugs. All of the product will be available at the NBC Experience Store in New York City and online at www.usanetworkstore.com.

The "Hank" and "Evan" bobbleheads will be integrated into the program on June 10. Hank's bobblehead has a few classic phrases viewers will recognize, including "Call me Hank," "Mrs . Newburg, what's your emergency?," "Stop saying quadrants!," and "Glasopherengial nerve is intact." Evan's bobblehead has a few other recognizable phrases including "Evan R. Lawson, CFO of HankMed," "HankMed. Good morning. How can we make you feel better today?," "Note to self: become a doctor," and "Done. And done."

"'Royal Pains' has been a big hit with viewers and we are pleased to be able to introduce this initial line of merchandise along with the start of the second season," said Kim Niemi, Senior Vice President, NBC Universal Television Consumer Products Group. "From the bobbleheads to the thermometer and the branded �HankMed' apparel, we know the fans will get a kick out of these items, which reflect the show's characters and humor."

This show already has such a great fan base and lends itself really well to key products," said Judith Dutch, Vice President Retail Operations and Consumer Marketing. "We have a lot of other clever items planned for the coming months and look forward to introducing them soon."

"Royal Pains" stars Mark Feuerstein as Hank Lawson who, after becoming blacklisted from the medical community, revives his career as a "doctor for hire" to the rich and famous in the Hamptons. In addition to treating this select group of the East End elite, Hank also caters to the town's less fortunate by donating his time at the local clinic. He finds himself walking the line between doing well for himself and doing good for others. The show also stars Paulo Costanzo ("Road Trip), Reshma Shetty ("30 Rock") and Jill Flint ("Gossip Girl"). "Royal Pains" is executive produced by Andrew Lenchewski ("UC: Undercover") and Michael Rauch ("Love Monkey"), as well as Rich Frank ("Comanche Moon"), Paul Frank ("Comanche Moon") and Jeff Kwatinetz ("Big Momma's House") from Prospect Park. Christine Sacani ("Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2") and John P. Rogers ("Hide & Seek") also serve as co-executive producers. "Royal Pains" films in New York (Long Island and Brooklyn) and at locations around The Hamptons. Two episodes were filmed this season in Puerto Rico.

Multiple Golden Globe and Emmy winning actor Henry Winkler joins the cast this year in a recurring role as Eddie R. Lawson, Hank and Evan's father. Campbell Scott ("Six Degrees") returns as Boris , as well as Tony-Award-winner Christine Ebersole ("Grey Gardens") as Mrs. Newburg, Marcia Gay Harden ("Mystic River") , Anastasia Griffith ("Trauma") and Tony Plana ("Ugly Betty") will also guest this season.
