LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- The latest development news, culled from recent wire reports:

CHAOS (CBS) - The Tom Spezialy-penned drama pilot, about a group of rogue CIA spies, has reportedly found a second life at the network. Said development comes after weeks of negotiations that fell apart last month after the casts' options expired. CBS and producer 20th Century Fox Television have nevertheless managed to revive the project and re-sign co-stars Carmen Ejogo, Eric Close, Freddy Rodriguez, James Murray and Tim Blake Nelson. Not returning is Stephen Rea as Director Higgins, a role which was expected to be recast from the start. A format pickup announcement could come as early as this week.
COMING OUT (A&E, New!) - Hollywood publicist Howard Bragman is developing a new reality series at the cable channel in which he helps public figures, you guessed it, come out of the closet. Juma Entertainment is behind the project, which is currently casting.
HARRY'S LAW (NBC) - Nate Corddry ("Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip") has joined the cast of the upcoming drama, about an ex-patent lawyer (Kathy Bates) who, having just been fired from her cushy job, starts her own storefront firm. He'll fill the void left by Ben Chaplin, whose character was dropped for the series back in May. Corddry will play the son of Bates' character, details of which weren't specified.
LIE TO ME (FOX) - Shoshannah Stern ("Jericho") has scored a role on the show's upcoming third season. She'll play "a grad student hired to help Dr. Lightman (Tim Roth) write his new book." It's not clear how many episodes she'll appear in.
