LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- Animal Planet is bringing back four of its original series in October: "The Haunted," "Fatal Attractions," "I Shouldn't Be Alive" and "Pit Bulls & Parolees."
They'll be joined by newcomer "Freak Encounters," in which unwitting participants bare witness to "some of the world's most unexplained creatures, places and most unexplained mysteries." The half-hour series is set for Tuesdays at 10:30/9:30c beginning October 19.
As for its returning class, "The Haunted" rejoins its lineup Sunday, October 3 at 10:00/9:00c while "Fatal Attractions" is due back on Friday, October 8 at 9:00/8:00c.
They're followed by season four of "I Shouldn't Be Alive" on Wednesday, October 13 at 10:00/9:00c and the sophomore run of "Pit Bulls & Parolees" on Saturday, October 30 at 10:00/9:00c. "Parolees" takes over for "Pit Boss," which wraps its inaugural season on October 23.
As previously reported, "Weird, True and Freaky" and "Lost Tapes" kick off their third seasons on Tuesday, September 28 at 8:00/7:00c and 10:00/9:00c, respectively, and continue through October.
