"BAM'S WORLD DOMINATION" PREMIERES ON SPIKE TV WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 13
New York, NY, September 20, 2010 - Television and film star Bam Margera takes a trip across the Atlantic Ocean with fellow JACKASS cohort and TV personality Ryan Dunn and pro-skateboarder Tim O'Connor to compete in the infamous "Tough Guy Challenge" outside of London, England in the new half-hour Spike TV special, "Bam's World Domination." This original show premieres Wednesday, October 13 at 11:30pm and showcases Margera and his friends' attempt to conquer one of the world's most infamous obstacle course races.
"The Tough Guy Challenge," a grueling test of man's will to survive, features participants battling an eight-mile obstacle course full of smoke, fire, barbed wire, freezing water, and fields of mud. Margera and his crew seek to show the Brits that they can tackle any physical challenge, no matter how perilous, as this race often proves to be.
Leading up to the race, cameras will follow Margera and his friends as they meet up with some locals and bring their own special brand of American mayhem. From downing pints in London pubs to taking an impromptu dip in the frigid Thames River, Margera and his buddies will stop at nothing in order to leave their mark on England.
"Bam Margera's World Domination" is produced and created by Bam Margera and Lee Sosin of Time Inc. Studios. It is executive produced by Paul Speaker and Joe DeVito, co-executive produced by Terry Hardy, and directed by Joe DeVito. Christopher Martello is the executive in charge of production for Spike TV.
About Bam Margera:
Margera first broke onto the national scene as a 13 year old pro-skater known for his creative street style and wild antics. As a teenager he created the CKY video series, which featured skating, pranks and stunts, all filmed in his hometown of West Chester, Pennsylvania. The combination of Bam's unique on-screen personality and the tremendous grassroots success of the CKY video series became the platform for the hit MTV show "Jackass", "Jackass, The Movie" and the later MTV "Viva La Bam" series.
In addition to Bam's television and film projects, he continues to be heavily involved in the music industry through his work directing music videos, his show "Radio Bam" on Sirius Satellite Radio and his "Viva La Bands" CD/DVD series and tour. Over a very short period of time, Bam has proven himself as a top-tier athlete and innovator in the film, television and music industries.
