LOST GIRLS (ABC, New!) - The Alphabet has given a put pilot order to a new drama about three women who leave the corporate ladder of Manhattan to search for adventure and inspiration. Said hour is based on Jennifer Baggett, Holly Corbett and Amanda Pressner's travel memoir/blog of the same name, which chronicled their journeying across four continents and more than a dozen countries. Ildy Modrovich ("Eleventh Hour") is penning the script while Jerry Bruckheimer and Jonathan Littman are executive producing for their Warner Bros. Television-based Jerry Bruckheimer Television. KristieAnne Reed is co-executive producing.
SECOND WIND/UNTITLED JONATHAN GOLDSTEIN PROJECT (CBS, New!) - Chris Bender and J.C. Spink ("Kyle XY") have set up a pair of multi-camera comedy projects at the Eye via their first-look deal with CBS Television Studios: "Second Wind," from Dean Craig ("Death at a Funeral") and Sam Liefer, is billed as "a buddy comedy about two divorced male friends who have different perspectives on single life," while Jonathan Goldstein ("The New Adventures of Old Christine") is behind an untitled half-hour about "an idealistic newlywed who must go to work for his business tycoon father-in-law." Bender and Spink will executive produce each project alongside their respective creators for their Benderspink banner.
