"Nightmare on Elm Street" proved to be the definitive account of what many have called the best, most frightening and imaginative horror franchise in motion picture history when it hit theaters in 1984. BIO's original "Inside Story" special features more than 100 brand-new interviews with directors including Wes Craven, Renny Harlin, Ronny Yu and stars including John Saxon, Alice Cooper, Monica Keena and Freddy Krueger himself, Rober Englund. The special will also showcase deleted footage, behind the scene clips, rare cast and crew photos and more.
"Halloween: The Inside Story" provides a look at the making of John Carpenter's 1978 low-budget horror masterpiece. Shot over 21 days in 1978, for just $300k, Halloween became the highest-grossing independent movies ever made, earning $47 million at the box office and making a star of then unknown Jamie Lee Curtis. Viewers will learn how Carpenter made movie magic on a shoestring budget by composing the theme song himself and creating one of the most iconic horror villains in movie history by spray painting a mask of Captain Kirk. "Halloween: The Inside Story" features interviews with the cast and crew including; Jamie Lee Curtis, John Carpenter, John Graham, director of the 2007 Halloween remake Rob Zombie, film critic Jeffrey Lyons and many more.
One of BIO's top series of all time, 'Celebrity Ghost Stories' returns with all new episodes on Saturday, October 30 at 9PM ET as more celebrities share their true, personal encounters with the paranormal.
