Los Angeles, CA - This Halloween, The Hub, a TV destination for kids and their families, brings viewers a Haunted Hub weekend with a special week-long holiday lineup of "spooktacular" programming the whole family can enjoy. The week of programming is capped by a three-day Halloween weekend of scary fare including a special two-part sneak preview of the upcoming Hub Original Series "R.L. Stine's The Haunting: The Series."

The Hub, which rebranded from Discovery Kids on 10-10-10, is a joint venture of Discovery Communications and Hasbro, Inc., and is available to 60 million U.S. cable and satellite households.

The Hub starts its ghoulish festivities on October 26, with a roster of Halloween-themed episodes of its regular animated and live-action series, including "The Twisted Whiskers Show," "Honey I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show," "Pound Puppies," "Happy Days," "Laverne & Shirley" and "Atomic Betty." Each show brings viewers closer to the Haunted Hub weekend featuring hair-raising shows kids and their parents will want to watch together. Time period listings are below.

The week of ghoulish fun leads to a three-day Halloween weekend of programming that includes a sneak preview of back-to-back episodes of "R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour: The Series," from the best-selling author and master of scary tales.

"R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour: The Series" (sneak preview, Friday, October 29, 8 p.m. ET; encore presentations: Friday, October 29, 9 p.m. ET, Saturday, October 30, 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. ET; Sunday, October 31, 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. ET). Anthological storytelling returns to television in this half-hour live-action children's series, based on the works of R.L. Stine. Sneak preview features a 2-part episode of "Really You" guest starring Bailee Madison ("Bridge of Terabithia," "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark" and "Just Go With It").

Hub Special Movie Presentation: "The Haunted Pumpkin of Sleepy Hollow" (premieres Friday, October 29, 3 p.m.; encore presentations: Friday, October 29, midnight ET; Saturday, October 30, 9 a.m. ET and Sunday, October 31, 11 a.m. ET) It's Halloween and friends Nick and Katie are on a mission to find the biggest and best pumpkin in the patch. Unfortunately, the pumpkin they choose is haunted by the ghost of the Headless Horseman...and he wants his head back!

"Truth or Scare" Halloween Marathon (Saturday, October 30, 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. ET; and Sunday, October 31, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. ET). Hosted by Michelle Trachtenberg, "Truth or Scare" goes deep into the shadows to explore haunted houses, mythical beasts, and ancient legends around the globe telling the tales of believers and skeptics alike. It will leave you wondering, is this Truth or Scare?

Hub Family Movie Night, "Little Monsters" (Saturday, October 30, 9 p.m. ET; encore presentation Sunday, October 31, 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. ET) Just like in his dreams, a young boy (Fred Savage) discovers a monster named Maurice (Howie Mandel) living under his bed.
