BRAVO LAUNCHES FIVE NIGHTS OF ORIGINAL PROGRAMMING
"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" Anchors Sunday Nights Starting November 7 at 10PM ET/PT
NEW YORK - October 25, 2010 - On the heels of the network's aggressive development slate announcements and a record-breaking 3rd quarter, Bravo expands to five nights of original programming - as had been announced at the network's Upfront in March 2010 - on Sundays starting November 7th. The successful franchise "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" will anchor Bravo's new Sunday night, with original episodes airing at 10PM ET/PT. Additionally, Bravo's twice-weekly late night gab fest "Watch What Happens: Live" with host Andy Cohen also will make the move from Monday to Sundays, airing new episodes immediately following "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" at 11PM ET/PT, in addition to the weekly Thursday night show (11 PM ET/PT). "With Bravo's rapid ratings growth and continued momentum in original programming and new engagement initiatives, we're expanding to Sunday nights where we can kick off the week earlier and each night becomes a promotional platform for the next night becoming a domino effect that strengthens our schedule," said Berwick. "We think the buzz-worthy sensation surrounding 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta,' with its ravenous fanbase, is the ideal launch for this new night of original programming."
Current slate of programming also includes: "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" and "Watch What Happens: Live (Sundays), "Thintervention" (Mondays), "Millionaire Matchmaker" (Tuesdays), "Top Chef Just Desserts" (Wednesdays), and "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" and "Watch What Happens: Live" (Thursdays).
For its move to Sundays, a new episode of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," airing Sunday, November 7 at 10pm ET/PT, NeNe introduces her troubled son Bryson to Peter, Cynthia's boyfriend and club owner, hoping he will inspire her son to find a career path. Meanwhile, Cynthia's ex-fianc�, actor Leon Robinson, discuss Peter's ultimatum with Cynthia. While planning a high-end yard sale, Kim finds time for her music career and begins work on her new track with more than a little help from Kandi. Things get heated between the two when creative differences arise. Already puzzled with Phaedra's ever-changing due date, the ladies are shocked to hear she'll be inducing her baby "early." NeNe's marriage troubles come to a boiling point when she reveals a dark relationship secret to Cynthia.
Immediately after tune into "Watch What Happens: Live" at 11PM ET/PT from the Bravo clubhouse with host Andy Cohen. "Watch What Happens: Live" is Bravo's first ever late night interactive talk show featuring guests from the world of entertainment and pop culture. The show airs live on Sunday and Thursday nights.
