STARS' HOMES GET STYLISH SEASONAL MAKEOVERS IN HGTV'S "CELEBRITY HOLIDAY HOMES"
One-Hour Special Airs on Saturday, December 4, at 8 p.m. ET/PT
Knoxville, Tenn. [For Immediate Release - November 12, 2010] The homes of Dancing With The Stars co-host Brooke Burke, The View co-host Sherri Shepherd and country music superstar Trisha Yearwood will get spectacular seasonal makeovers in HGTV's Celebrity Holiday Homes. The one-hour special, premiering on Saturday, December 4, at 8 p.m. ET/PT, will offer viewers the best holiday decorating tips and inspirational ideas from designers Brandon Branch, Michael Russo and Sandra Espinet.
"We wanted to give viewers a peek at the stunning décor of these stars' homes while inspiring them to create their own festive holiday looks," said Freddy James, senior vice president, program development & production, HGTV. "Many of the décor ideas showcased in Celebrity Holiday Homes can be easily re-imagined and personalized to transform any living area into more festive spaces for holiday celebrations."
During the special, Brandon will create a Southern-style Christmas for Trisha's Nashville home. Instead of traditional greenery, Brandon and Trisha use flowers and collect pine cones, leaf and branch clippings from the backyard to create a beautiful holiday wreath. Trisha also will join her family in the kitchen to prepare their favorite seasonal dishes and give an intimate performance of one her favorite songs.
Michael decorates Sherri's brownstone in Harlem with a jazz-inspired theme. For Sherri, the holidays are a perfect time to invite friends and family to a soiree complete with a three-piece jazz band. Together, Sherri and Michael decorate the home with gold ribbons, garland and glittering ornaments shaped like musical notes to create a joyful holiday space.
Finally, in Malibu, Sandra will enlist the help of Brooke and her family to decorate the tree, while she creates a beautiful all-white fantasy Christmas in their dining and living area. The monochromatic décor, which continues out to their cabana, evokes an elegant, California-inspired winter wonderland for Brooke, her fiancé David Charvet and their children.
Whether it's a Southern-style Christmas for Trisha, Sherri's holiday décor with a musical twist or a west coast wonderland for Brooke and her family, viewers will see what it takes to make the stars' homes special this holiday season.
