UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - November 16, 2010 - NBC's popular competition show "Minute to Win It" will dedicate an entire episode on December 7 to the highly anticipated December 14 Blu-ray(TM) and DVD release of the animated hit film "Despicable Me." In addition, both "Minute" and NBC's singing competition series "The Sing-Off" will offer a sneak peek of the brand-new mini-movie "Banana," made exclusively for the "Despicable Me" Blu-ray(TM) and DVD Double Pack.

"Minute to Win It" will debut "Banana" on Tuesday, December 7 (8-9 p.m. ET). In addition to airing the first-ever sneak peek, "Minute to Win It" will showcase several of the mischievous "Minions" from "Despicable Me" throughout the special episode and will include audience giveaways.

"The Sing-Off" will subsequently air the "Banana" mini-movie on Wednesday, December 8 (8-9 p.m. ET).

The animated comedy blockbuster "Despicable Me" includes three all-new mini-movies created exclusively for the Blu-ray(TM) and DVD Double Pack and debuts December 14. The hilarious mini-movies, including "Banana," "Orientation Day" and "Home Makeover," star the unforgettably funny Minions. Additionally, both the Blu-ray(TM) and DVD are packed with more never-before-seen bonus features including games, behind-the-scenes featurettes and interactive play for hours of additional fun.

"Minute to Win It," hosted by All-American chef and television personality Guy Fieri ("Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives"), features competitors participating in a series of simple, yet nerve-wracking, games that can lead to a $1 million prize. In each one-hour episode, competitors face 10 challenges that escalate in level of difficulty using everyday household items. Each game has a one-minute time limit and failure to finish the task on time will eliminate the contestant. At various points throughout the game, the competitor can walk away with the money earned up to that point - but it'll take nerves of steel to complete all 10 tasks to win $1 million. The competitors, who come from all walks of life, are shown over 60 games prior to the competition and are encouraged to practice these one-of-a-kind challenges at home.
