TRACE ADKINS TO HOST AND PERFORM ON "AMERICAN COUNTRY AWARDS" MONDAY, DECEMBER 6, ON FOX

EASTON CORBIN, STEEL MAGNOLIA AND UNCLE KRACKER ALSO TO PERFORM ON STAR-STUDDED INAUGURAL SPECIAL

Voting for Artist of the Year Continues at www.theacas.com Until Saturday, December 4

Multi-platinum recording artist Trace Adkins will host and perform on the AMERICAN COUNTRY AWARDS, airing live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Monday, Dec. 6 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX. Additionally, country music sensations Easton Corbin, Steel Magnolia and Uncle Kracker are also set to perform during the two-hour primetime special.

AMERICAN COUNTRY AWARDS is the only country music awards show that gives fans the opportunity to vote for their favorite artists not only in traditional categories but also in previously unrecognized areas of the business such as touring, encompassing the entire spectrum of country music and bestowing honors that no other awards show has. The star-studded event will also feature previously announced performers Toby Keith, Rascal Flatts, Reba, Blake Shelton and Josh Turner, as well as participants Laura Bell Bundy, Rodney Carrington, Jewel, Lady Antebellum, Bret Michaels, Ty Murray, Jeff Dunham, Michael Waltrip and Elliott Sadler.

Fans can still vote once each day for their favorite nominees in the Artist of the Year category, at www.theacas.com until Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010.

Trace Adkins is one of country music's most versatile and accomplished entertainers. His instantly recognizable baritone has earned him 28 charted singles and 14 Top Ten hits; gold, platinum and multi-platinum albums with total sales surpassing 10 million; membership in the Grand Ole Opry; and a number of industry awards. Since entering the public eye with the singles "Every Light In The House Is On" and "This Ain't No Thinkin' Thing," Adkins has proven his ability to create hits, including rowdy barroom anthem "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk" and "All I Ask For Anymore," a moving modern masterpiece that earned Grammy nominations for Best Male Country Performance and Best Country Song. With music as his foundation, Adkins has constructed a truly diversified career, becoming a sought-after guest on talk shows, a popular reality show participant, an accomplished actor, a voiceover narrator and commercial spokesman and a successful author. His towering physical presence and no-nonsense personality have even inspired a modern comic book hero, Luke McBain. Adkins' new album, "Cowboy's Back In Town," is available in stores and online and recently debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Country Album charts. The lead single, "This Ain't No Love Song," has become the superstar's latest Top 20 hit and is steadily climbing the country singles charts.

Recognized for the No. 1 hits "A Little More Country Than That" and "Roll With It," newcomer Easton Corbin holds the title for the highest-charting male debut single for 2009 and 2010. People magazine awarded his self-titled debut album three out of four stars and claims it "sounds like the second coming of George Strait." Others agree. Billboard boasts "Taking a page from the Strait playbook, Corbin displays excellent song sense while offering an easygoing vocal style." Newsday proclaims "Corbin may just be one of the year's breakout stars." And American Songwriter says "Easton has one of those rare, glorious voices that was made - just made - for singing country music." Corbin wrote four songs for the record, which debuted as the No. 2 top-selling record on iTunes' country albums chart, as well as the No. 5 top album on the all-genres chart. He opened for Brad Paisley's summer/fall tour, and has performed on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon."

Season Two "Can You Duet?" winners, Steel Magnolia - Meghan Linsey and Joshua Scott Jones - captivated America with their dynamic harmonies and musicianship that is one part country and two parts southern soul. Steel Magnolia's debut single on Big Machine Records, "Keep On Lovin' You," skyrocketed into the Top 5 on the Billboard Country Songs Chart, landed a spot on the "Valentine's Day" movie soundtrack and has earned 1 million downloads to date. The rising stars earned nine award nominations in their debut year, including four from the American Country Awards, two from the Academy of Country Music Awards, two from the Country Music Television Awards and one from the Country Music Association Awards, and toured throughout the summer on Brad Paisley's H2O World Tour. Steel Magnolia's highly anticipated full-length debut, which includes the hits "Just By Being You (Halos & Wings)" and "Last Night Again," will be in stores in January 11, 2011.

Initially known for his role as DJ in Kid Rock's Twisted Brown Trucker band, Uncle Kracker has become a chart-topping, multi-platinum recording artist and songwriter in his own right. Featured on his most recent release, "Happy Hour: The South River Road Sessions," the Detroit native scored a Top 5 country radio hit with "Smile." The platinum certified smash's companion video has also been a Top 5 success on Great American Country's Top 20 Country Countdown and a Top 20 rotation favorite on "CMT Top 20 Countdown." Uncle Kracker's latest single, "Good To Be Me" (featuring Kid Rock), is already shooting up the country charts and is the namesake for his first-ever headlining country music tour. Next spring will see Uncle Kracker joining longtime friend Kenny Chesney and Zac Brown Band for their highly anticipated stadium tour. In addition to scoring No. 1 hits on his first two full length solo releases with "Follow Me" and "Drift Away," Uncle Kracker has also topped the country chart with "When The Sun Goes Down," his 2004 collaboration with Chesney. An accomplished songwriter, Uncle Kracker co-wrote a number of Kid Rock's biggest hits, including 2008's multi-format smash "All Summer Long," which peaked at No. 3 on the Country charts.

AMERICAN COUNTRY AWARDS is executive-produced by Bob Bain (TEEN CHOICE 2010, "Kids' Choice Awards"). Paul Flattery and Tisha Fein serve as producers; Fletcher Foster is co-producer; and Greg Sills is supervising producer. Michael Dempsey will direct the special.
