Country Superstar Confirmed On-Screen Reunion with Melissa Peterman
on Wednesday's "CMT Radio Live"
NASHVILLE - November 26, 2010 - Filling in as DJ on CMT RADIO LIVE Wednesday evening, country superstar Reba officially announced her plans to guest star on CMT's first sitcom, WORKING CLASS, with her episode scheduled to tape in December. The scripted comedy stars Melissa Peterman, whom Reba chatted with on the live radio show.
In anticipation of Reba's trip to the WORKING CLASS set, Peterman made several promises to Reba, including giving the country icon her own dressing room, personally shampooing the rug for her, painting a mural of the two friends on her dressing room wall and more.
Reba's conversation with Melissa Peterman will re-air on CMT RADIO LIVE nationwide tonight at 7:00 p.m.
WORKING CLASS premieres Friday, January 28 at 8:00 p.m., ET/PT, followed by a second, all-new episode at 8:30 p.m., ET/PT. Premiere date and time for the episode featuring Reba will be announced in the coming weeks. WORKING CLASS stars Melissa Peterman as a single mom, Carli, who tries to give her kids a better life by moving them to an upscale suburb. She quickly finds that making the transition to "the good life" is harder than she thought. TV legend Ed Asner stars as the cranky, next door neighbor and co-worker, Hank; while TV newcomer and Broadway vet, Steve Kazee, plays Carli's ladies-man brother.
