"FASHION FORWARD: MAKING IT," TO FEATURE TOP DESIGNERS AND EMERGING SUPERSTARS IN A BEHIND-THE-SCENES LOOK AT THE FASHION WORLD, ON WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 8, 9:00-10:00 PM ET
December 1, 2010 (Burbank, CA) - The CW Network has announced new details of FASHION FORWARD: MAKING IT, the one-hour special hosted by The Twilight Saga actress Ashley Greene and set to air on Wednesday, December 8 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET).
As previously announced, the special is a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to make it in the fashion industry, from the creation of designs to building a business and a brand, and will include profiles of Marcus Wainwright and David Neville of rag & bone, Alexander Wang, Tory Burch, Gwen Stefani and Justin Timberlake, co-founder of William Rast. In addition, the special will also feature the following profiles:
· Three emerging superstar designers - Prabal Gurung, Bibhu Mohapatra, and Alice Ritter. These up-and-coming fashion stars are all working at The Incubator, a special program created by the Council of Fashion Designers of America to foster emerging young designers.
· Tabitha Simmons - a hot young stylist who works at Vogue and had a leading role in creating New York's largest and most extravagant fashion show for Fashion's Night Out 2010.
· Eric Daman - the talented stylist behind the fashion-forward looks of The CW's hit series "Gossip Girl."
FASHION FORWARD: MAKING IT is produced by CBS Eye Too Productions, a unit of CBS News Inc. The executive producer is Susan Zirinsky.
