Cartoon Network Launches Free Mobile Apps
New Apps Allows Fans to Watch Shows, Create Custom Pictures and Share With Friends
A holiday gift to fans, Cartoon Network announced today the launch of Cartoon Network Video, a new free video application that is now available in the iTunes store. The new app allows fans to watch Cartoon Network's most popular shows on the go, including Adventure Time, Regular Show, Ben 10, Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated, Destroy Build Destroy, and Generator Rex. Cartoon Network Video is free to download, features both full show episodes and clips, gives fans access to the Cartoon Network programming schedule to see when their favorite shows are airing, and has new content being added every week.
Cartoon Network also launched a free Adventure Time app on iTunes in November, which allows fans to play more than 50 sound clips from their favorite characters featured on the show such as Finn, Jake, The Ice King, Princess Bubblegum, and Marceline the Vampire Queen. Fans can also create and customize their own pictures with Adventure Time virtual stickers and share them with friends on Facebook and Twitter.
Adventure Time is an original animated series from creator Pendleton Ward and part of Cartoon Network's top-rated comedy animation block that is the #1 destination on Monday night (8-10 p.m.) on all television among boys 2-11, 6-11, and 9-14. The show introduces viewers to unlikely heroes Finn & Jake, buddies who traverse the mystical Land of Ooo and encounter its colorful inhabitants.
