Bravo Becomes First Brand To Stream Foursquare Check-Ins On Television
NEW YORK, NY - December 29, 2010 - Bravo is ramping up the New Years Eve experience by joining forces once again in a partnership with foursquare to feature dedicated viewers on the inaugural NYE special "Watch What Happens Live: Andy's New Year's Eve Party." As the first entertainment property to launch a branded experience on the foursquare site, Bravo is committed to engaging viewers at a local level and is taking the charge a step further to ring in the New Year. During the NYE television special, Bravo will stream live profile photos, first names (and last initials) and hometowns of foursquare users who follow Bravo and are checking in that night. Additionally, two lucky viewers who unlock the Andy Cohen foursquare badge during the month of December will be rewarded with tickets to the event where they'll be able to mingle with their favorite "Bravo-lebrities."
Kicking off Friday, December 31 at 10:30pm ET/PT, foursquare users across the country can take advantage of this unprecedented opportunity to virally join host Andy Cohen during the Bravo's NYE special and to see their public profile info on screen. Throughout the two-hour clubhouse party, a ticker-like module designed by creative agency JESS3 will scroll across the bottom of the screen highlighting the foursquare users.
"Watch What Happens Live: Andy's New Year's Eve Party" is the opportunity to end your year with a bang. Guests during the special night include comedienne Sandra Bernhard, writer Meghan McCain, Housewives from coast to coast including Tamra Barney from "The Real Housewives of O.C," Lisa Vanderpump with her dog Giggy from "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" and Jeff Lewis from "Flipping Out."
