LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- NBC is bringing its freshman drama "Chase" back from hiatus.
The first of five new episodes will air Saturday nights at 8:00/7:00c beginning April 23, the network confirmed this afternoon.
The series has been absent from the schedule since January, when it was tabled in favor of additional episodes of "Minute to Win It."
In other news at the Peacock:
-- Repeats of the aforementioned "Minute to Win It" will once again assume the Wednesday, 9:00/8:00c slot starting April 13. NBC had been running additional repeats of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" in the hour since the close of the February sweeps period.
-- "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" repeats will fill the Tuesday, 10:00/9:00c hour in June, bridging the gap until "America's Got Talent" begins its two-hour broadcasts on July 5.
-- The network has likewise revised its Saturday summer lineup as repeats of "Minute to Win It," "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" and "Law & Order: LA" will fill the night save for June 4 (Game 1 of the NHL Stanley Cup Finals), June 11 (the original movie "Field of Vision," formerly known as "Magic Eye") and August 20 (2011 Visa Gymnastics Championships). The trio will take over for the previously announced lineup of "Harry's Law," "Law & Order: LA" and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" repeats.
-- And finally, look for the annual "Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular" on Monday, July 4 at 9:00/8:00c with a rebroadcast following at 10:00/9:00c.
