Sundance Channel Acquires Critically Acclaimed Fan Favorite "My So-Called Life"
New York, April 7, 2011 - Sundance Channel has announced that it has acquired the iconic series "My So-Called Life" from Disney-ABC Domestic Television, premiering on April 25 at 11PM ET/PT. The one-hour series broke new ground when it launched in 1994 by following a group of suburban teenagers and addressing social issues that continue to be relevant today, such as homophobia, teenage drinking and bullying. We're delighted to bring back the series for the passionate audience that adored the show when it first premiered and we're thrilled to introduce it to a whole new audience that can enjoy it for the first time. The timeless stories hold up brilliantly."

Winnie Holzman and Scott Winant served as the co-executive producers and Brooke Kennedy served as producer. The one-hour series, which originally aired on ABC from 1994-1995, was produced by The Bedford Falls Company in association with ABC Productions, Inc.
