HBO EMPLOYS INNOVATIVE SCHEDULING STRATEGY FOR LAUNCH OF EAGERLY AWAITED SERIES "GAME OF THRONES"
NEW YORK, April 12, 2011 - The launch of the new HBO series GAME OF THRONES will be supported by an innovative scheduling strategy designed to guarantee maximum exposure for this eagerly awaited show.
After its debut on the main HBO channel on Sunday, April 17 (9:00-10:05 p.m. ET/PT), which will be followed by back-to-back encore plays at 10:05 p.m. and 11:15 p.m., the first episode of GAME OF THRONES will be spotlighted on six HBO channels simultaneously the next day.
On Monday, April 18, GAME OF THRONES can be seen at 9:00 p.m. on HBO, HBO2, HBO Signature, HBO Comedy, HBO Zone and HBO Latino. In addition, HBO2 will present the episode three times back-to-back that evening, at 9:00 p.m. 10:05 p.m. and 11:15 p.m.
