VIEWERS CAN OWN A PIECE OF DILLON, TEXAS FOOTBALL ONE LAST TIME THROUGH THE OFFICIAL "FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS" AUCTION CELEBRATING THE ACCLAIMED NBC SERIES

NBC Online Store Also Adds Exclusive New "Friday Night Lights"-branded Items and Will Carry Wardrobe Items Seen on Series

"Friday Night Lights" Returns to NBC for Final Season on Friday, April 15

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - April 14, 2011 - As the stadium lights dim over Dillon, Texas with the final upcoming season of NBC's acclaimed "Friday Night Lights," NBCUniversal Television Consumer Products Group has partnered with VIP Partnership Group for an official online auction of key props and wardrobe. The auction kicks off April 19 at NBCUAUCTIONS.com and runs through September -- with new items up for bidding every week.

In addition, NBCUniversal is giving a second life to jerseys and other wardrobe as seen on the show, which will be available for purchase starting April 29 in the NBC online store (www.nbcstore.com). A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the wardrobe items carried in the NBC online store, as well as from the online auction, will benefit needy youth football programs as selected by NBCUniversal's "Green is Universal" initiative.

Beyond the auction and wardrobe items that are offered, the online store has added exclusive new "Friday Night Lights" merchandise to celebrate the final season. Items include an East Dillon Lions iPhone cover, a Dillon Panthers stadium blanket, and an East Dillon Lions "Clear Eyes. Full Heart. Can't Lose!" metal sign, which are now available for purchase at www.nbcstore.com.

"'Friday Night Lights' has such a devoted fan base and we are thrilled to offer everyone these great opportunities to bid on key props from the online auction as well as to purchase both 'seen-on' wardrobe items and new merchandise from the NBC online store," said Shelli Hill, Vice President, NBCUniversal Television Consumer Products Group. "As the series enters its final season on NBC, the rivalry between the Dillon Panthers and East Dillon Lions is hotter than ever. Fans can show off their favorite team gear accessories, and in the process, extend the life spans of these items while benefiting a great cause."

The official online auction items range from Coach Eric Taylor's (Kyle Chandler) East Dillon Lions playbook to Dillon Panther trophies and team photos. Fans can also purchase a Dillon Panther State Championship shadowbox, complete with a white Dillon Panther jersey (#1) and an extra-large commemorative ticket to the state championship game between Dillon Panthers and West Cambria (Season 1). East Dillon Lion game balls, a Dillon Panthers helmet and other key props from the series will be added over the course of the auction.

"We are excited to offer fans of the NBCUniversal family broadcast entities a worldwide platform and unparalleled access to items directly from the set of 'Friday Night Lights,'" said Mark Kaminky, Managing Partner at VIP Partnership Group. "Through the weekly NBCU Auctions, fans will be able to bid on and purchase their favorite items from 'Friday Night Lights' using their computer, iPad, iTouch or mobile device."

Expanding on the hit feature film and best-selling book "Friday Night Lights," the award-winning series centers on life in Dillon, Texas, where high school football brings the community together -- and the drama of small town life threatens to tear it apart.

The critically acclaimed series stars Emmy Award nominees Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton and is executive-produced by Peter Berg, Jason Katims, Brian Grazer, David Nevins, David Hudgins and Sarah Aubrey. "Friday Night Lights" is a production of Imagine Entertainment, Universal Media Studios and Film 44.
