LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- It's three-and-out for "Chaos" as CBS has pulled the struggling drama from its lineup effective immediately.
Scheduling updates released by the network this afternoon indicate a repeat of "CSI: NY" will fill the Friday, 8:00/7:00c hour this week with the previously announced "The Royal Wedding: Modern Majesty" special on April 29.
Then on May 6 look for a new season of "Flashpoint" to assume the slot going forward.
"Chaos" drew 5.68 million viewers and a modest 1.0 rating among adults 18-49 this past Friday, both down from its already weak premiere audience (6.56 million, 1.1 rating among adults 18-49 on April 1). 10 of the show's 13 installments have yet to air.
Separately, CBS has also booked a last-minute repeat of "NCIS: Los Angeles" tomorrow night at 10:00/9:00c ("Standoff") in place of a repeat of "The Good Wife."
