NEW YORK (May 9, 2011) - The marquee boxing event of 2011 - Manny "Pac-Man" Pacquiao vs. "Sugar" Shane Mosley - will make its premium network premiere this Saturday, May 14 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, followed by the LIVE Super Six World Boxing Classic Semifinal matchup between World Boxing Association (WBA) Super Middleweight Champion Andre "S.O.G" Ward and "King" Arthur Abraham from The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. (delayed on the West Coast).
Last Saturday night in front of a sold-out crowd that included a host of entertainment and sports superstars, the international sensation Pacquiao further solidified his place as boxing's No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter in the world with a dominant unanimous decision win over the future Hall of Famer Mosley. The championship bout featured Pacquiao sending Mosley on a rare trip to the canvas in the third round and a controversial knockdown of Pacquiao in the tenth. The event was produced and distributed LIVE by SHOWTIME PPV(R).
