Santa Monica, CA - May 11, 2011 - Love can be a battlefield, but when hip hop is involved it can be a war where only the strong survive. In the premiere season of VH1's "Love & Hip Hop," five women who are all part of the New York hip hop scene, shared their lives and secrets and showed the world what life is really like behind the velvet rope. Through their successes and failures, both professionally and personally, Chrissy Lampkin, Olivia Longott, Emily Bustamante and Somaya "Boss" Reece gave their all for love and hip hop. The ladies will come together for a reunion special to dish on what happened after the curtains closed. Hosted by HOT 97's Angie Martinez, the "Love & Hip Hop" reunion special will air on Monday, May 16 at 8PM*. Tune in to catch up with the ladies and find out what's next for them in their lives.
This season on "Love & Hip Hop," the ladies learned that all in life is not fair . . . viewers watched drama unfold as Chrissy planned for a future with longtime boyfriend Jim Jones while dealing with the "other woman" ... Jim's mom Nancy. Somaya and Olivia tried to take their solo careers to new levels while battling each other every step of the way. And Emily, struggling to win the support and love from the rapper Fabolous who is the father of her 4 year old son. Through all the fights and the tears, the ladies of "Love & Hip Hop" are ready to share their lessons learned while they reveal the juicy behind-the-scenes moments of the show.
