truTV Heads to Miami's Playground of the Rich and Beautiful For New Original Series SOUTH BEACH TOW
SOUTH BEACH TOW comes to truTV from Executive Producer Jennifer Lopez
In Florida's South Beach, it can seem like every day is spring break. The problem? There aren't nearly enough parking spaces. Even the rich and beautiful can have their cars towed if they park illegally or fail to keep up with their car payments, as truTV reveals in the new original series SOUTH BEACH TOW.
Set to premiere Wednesday, July 20, with back-to-back episodes at 10 and 10:30 p.m. (ET/PT), SOUTH BEACH TOW centers on the family-run Tremont Towing and its affable-but-tough manager, Robert Ashenoff. In part because he's a hard-working boss, and in part because so many people in South Beach seem to think the law doesn't apply to them, Robert has turned his company into a million-dollar business. Helping him out are his six-foot-three, 300-pound son, Bobby Jr., and his wildly tattooed daughter, Christie. He also has a trio of skilled drivers - Frankie, Eddie and Jerome - each with his own unique and fascinating personality.
SOUTH BEACH TOW comes to truTV from Jennifer Lopez's Nuyorican Productions and Bodega Pictures. The series is executive-produced by Jennifer Lopez (The Back-up Plan) and Simon Fields of Nuyorican Productions, as well as Benjamin Nurick, Josh Ackerman and Zachary Werner of Bodega Pictures. For truTV, Anthony Horn serves as executive in charge of production, and Jessica Shreeve is executive producer.
