SYFY.COM LETS FANS SELECT A CONTESTANT FOR SEASON TWO OF ITS HIT REALITY COMPETITION SERIES "FACE OFF"
NEW YORK - July 28, 2011 - Syfy's hit reality competition series Face Off is setting the stage for its second season, with just one more special effects make-up artist to be selected for the competition. And this time around, Syfy.com will let fans make that selection.
At last weekend's Comic Con in San Diego, Syfy staged a live make-up challenge in which three artists imaginatively competed for a single spot on the second season. The make-up artists applied prosthetics, painted and airbrushed to construct any creature of their choice on a live model before fans.
From August 2-15, video and photographs of the three contestants and their elaborate creations will be posted on www.syfy.com/faceoff so that viewers can vote for their favorite. The winner will snag the final contestant spot on the upcoming season of Face Off, which returns in January 2012.
