Style Presents Exclusive Television Event "Wedding Fabulous: Sherri Shepherd Gets Married" Premiering Tuesday, September 13 at 9:00PM ET/PT

Daytime's Popular Talk Show Co-Host Invites Viewers Inside her Star-Studded Chicago Wedding to Witness All the Chaos, Comedy and Romance Leading Up to Her Big Day

Los Angeles, CA, August 11, 2011 - Actress, comedienne and daytime talk show co-host Sherri Shepherd will marry the love of her life, television writer Lamar Sally, in a sweet, lighthearted and what may prove to be a highly comedic wedding this month in Chicago. In an exclusive deal with The Style Network, Sherri invites viewers behind-the-scenes to witness all the excitement, from the early planning stages to the romantic one-of-a-kind wedding ceremony. In the special, viewers will see all the bridal drama and the mad rush of her planner as he organizes the numerous events, all leading up to the touching wedding vows between Sherri and her fiancé. Friend and fellow co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck from "The View" will be there to lend a hand and joins celebrity bridesmaids Kym Whitley, Yvette Nicole Brown and Niecy Nash at Sherri's fun and unpredictable wedding celebration. "Wedding Fabulous: Sherri Shepherd Gets Married" premieres Tuesday, September 13 at 9:00pm ET/PT on Style.

Weeks before the big event, Sherri faces the reality that she will juggle many responsibilities and major life changes while planning her nuptials. In addition to her daily duties as a daytime talk show host, she appears on "30 Rock," hosts GSN's "The Newlywed Game" and is getting back on the stand-up comedy circuit. To top it off, Lamar is relocating from Los Angeles to New York to begin their life together. Viewers will follow as he moves into Sherri's home -- which is already cluttered with her entire wig collection! When Lamar does officially get settled, that doesn't change the fact that Sherri has decided to take a vow of celibacy until she walks down the aisle, despite the fact that this is her second marriage and she has a 6-year-old child, Jeffrey.

To stay true to her comedic roots, Sherri insists that their ceremony be filled with fun and laughter but needs help getting it altogether. Luckily, she has pal Elisabeth to take on some of the wedding responsibilities and celebrity planner Michael Russo to help pull off the big event. Viewers can expect to see hilarious dress fittings, bling by Jacob the Jeweler and the selection of a delicious cake. The team even coordinates a fun treat for the wedding guests - Sherri, Lamar and the entire bridal party plan to break out into a dance number at her reception.

With her magnetic personality and bubbly sense of humor, Emmy(R) award-winning talk show co-host, actress and comedienne Sherri Shepherd never fails to delight audiences. Along with co-hosting "The View," Sherri is currently hosting GSN's "The Newlywed Game," has a recurring role on NBC's "30 Rock" and will appear in the upcoming season of "Hot in Cleveland." She starred in the popular sitcom "Less Than Perfect," executive produced her own Lifetime series "Sherri" and appeared in a number of films, including the Academy Award(R)-winning film "Precious."

As guests arrive and she prepares to walk down the aisle, all of the elements will seamlessly come together for one truly glorious celebration in "Wedding Fabulous: Sherri Shepherd Gets Married," premiering Tuesday, September 13 at 9:00pm ET/PT only on Style.

"Wedding Fabulous: Sherri Shepherd Gets Married" is produced by True Entertainment for The Style Network. Steven Weinstock and Glenda Hersh serve as executive producers.
