In light of the ongoing economic turmoil, your readers may be interested to know that the HBO Films presentation TOO BIG TO FAIL will receive special encore plays this Wednesday, Aug. 17 at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT) and Sunday, Aug. 21 at 10:00 a.m. (ET/PT) on the main HBO channel. In addition, the film will be available on HBO On Demand from Monday, Aug. 22 to Monday, Sept. 26.

Based on the bestselling book by Andrew Ross Sorkin, TOO BIG TO FAIL offers an intimate look at the epochal financial crisis of 2008 and the powerful men and women who decided the fate of the world's economy in a matter of a few weeks. Centering on Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, the film goes behind closed doors to examine the symbiotic relationship between Wall Street and Washington. William Hurt stars as Paulson; the film also stars (in alphabetical order) Ed Asner, Billy Crudup, Paul Giamatti, Topher Grace, Matthew Modine, Cynthia Nixon, Michael O'Keefe, Bill Pullman, Tony Shalhoub, and James Woods. Ayad Akhtar, Kathy Baker, Evan Handler, John Heard, Dan Hedaya and Joey Slotnick co-star. HBO Films presents a Curtis Hanson Film, in association with Spring Creek Productions; Curtis Hanson directs from a script by Peter Gould; based on the book by Andrew Ross Sorkin; Curtis Hanson, Paula Weinstein, and Jeffrey Levine executive produce.
