"THE GOOD WIFE: A NEW BEGINNING," A SPECIAL RECAPPING THE FIRST TWO SEASONS OF THE EMMY AWARD NOMINATED DRAMA AND LOOKING AHEAD TO SEASON THREE, WILL BE BROADCAST SUNDAY, SEPT. 4

THE GOOD WIFE: A NEW BEGINNING is a new half-hour special that will catch up new and returning viewers through interviews with the Emmy Award nominated series' stars and executive producers, as well as show footage, which will recap key characters and storylines from the first two seasons and look forward to season three. The special will be broadcast Sunday, Sept. 4 (9:30 - 10:00 ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Scenes from the first two seasons and the third season premiere will be included in the special, in addition to interviews with series' stars Julianna Margulies, Christine Baranski, Josh Charles, Archie Panjabi, Matt Czuchry, Alan Cumming and Chris Noth, as well as with co-creators and executive producers Robert King and Michelle King.

THE GOOD WIFE stars Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award winner Julianna Margulies as a wife and mother who balances her personal and professional lives in the wake of her husband's sexually charged political corruption scandal. It is the recipient of nine 2011 Primetime Emmy nominations, the most for a broadcast network series, including a nomination for Outstanding Drama Series and acting nominations for Margulies, Baranski, Charles, Panjabi, Cumming and guest star Michael J. Fox.

The third season of THE GOOD WIFE premieres on its new day and time, Sunday, Sept. 25 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
