DR. WENDY WALSH JOINS AS A CO-HOST OF EMMY AWARD-WINNING DAYTIME SERIES "THE DOCTORS"

(Hollywood, CA - September 1, 2011) - Psychologist and author Dr. Wendy Walsh has joined the Emmy(R) Award-winning daytime series THE DOCTORS as a co-host and will make her debut on the season four premiere September 12, it was announced today.

THE DOCTORS, from Stage 29 Productions, and distributed by CBS Television Distribution, launched in 2008 with an esteemed group of professionals that includes ER physician Dr. Travis Stork; OB/GYN Dr. Lisa Masterson; cosmetic and reconstructive surgeon Dr. Drew Ordon, pediatrician Dr. Jim Sears, as well as health and wellness expert Jillian Michaels, who is also joining as a new co-host for season four. The show has been heralded for providing viewers with entertaining and easily digestible information that is essential to overall health.

"I have always been an advocate of physical and mental wellbeing, and I'm beyond thrilled to join THE DOCTORS.
