ABC NEWS TO BROADCAST SPECIAL COVERAGE OF THE PRESIDENT'S ADDRESS TO CONGRESS
George Stephanopoulos to Anchor Special Coverage on ABC
Beginning at 7:00 p.m., ET Tonight, Thursday, September 8
ABC News will broadcast President Obama's address to a joint session of Congress tonight, THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 8 at 7:00 p.m., ET, as he outlines his jobs plan. George Stephanopoulos will anchor the network's coverage. He will be joined by Senior White House Correspondent Jake Tapper, Senior Political Correspondent Jonathan Karl and "20/20" anchor Chris Cuomo. Coverage and analysis will continue Thursday evening on "Nightline" and tomorrow morning on "Good Morning America."
ABCNews.com will live stream the address and will provide extensive coverage from ABC's political and business reporters.
ABC News Radio will provide live anchored coverage of the President's address to Congress beginning at 7:00 p.m., ET, anchored by ABC News Radio Correspondent Aaron Katersky. He will be joined by ABC News Radio White House Correspondent Ann Compton and ABC News Radio Correspondent Steven Portnoy.
ABC NewsOne, the network's affiliate news service, will report on the speech for ABC affiliates and international partners.
