Promote Financial Literacy Among Youth; Cultural Icon JAY-Z Guest Stars in Premiere Episode Sunday, October 23
LOS ANGELES - With the important message that it's never too soon to learn the importance of "investing in yourself," The Hub TV network, a destination for kids and their families, will present a series of four animated original specials, "Secret Millionaires Club," featuring famed investor Warren Buffett. The first of the half-hour specials premieres Sunday, October 23 (1 p.m. ET).
"Secret Millionaires Club" was created in partnership with and voiced by Buffett, one of the most successful investors in the world. The specials feature Buffett as an advisor to a group of entrepreneurial kids who learn through a series of adventures the basic principles about business, and discover that the most valuable investment they can make is an investment in themselves.
In the premiere special, "Be Cool to Your School," Buffett gives financial advice to a group of teens attempting to raise money for their school and a trip to New York City. Buffett's practical financial advice guides the teens as they form a Secret Millionaires Club to help others. Guest-starring in the episode is entertainment mogul and business entrepreneur, JAY-Z.
Buffett, a well-known businessman and philanthropist, developed a remarkable knack for financial and business matters early in his childhood, and has used his knowledge to educate and enlighten people of all ages on the importance of financial awareness and investment.
The series is produced for The Hub TV Network by A Squared Entertainment and Andy Heyward, former CEO of DIC Entertainment. Dates and guest-stars for the remaining three specials will be announced.
