APOCALIPSTICK (NBC, New!) - Julie Klausner (VH1's "Best Week Ever") has sold a potential comedy to the Peacock about "a woman's father who ends up dating her high school nemesis." She'll write and executive produce the hour alongside Gail Berman, Lloyd Braun and Gene Stein of the Universal Television-based BermanBraun with Karen Spiegel also serve as a co-executive producer. BEN FOX IS MY MANNY (FOX, New!) - Screenwriter Dana Fox ("Couples Retreat") is developing a new comedy at the network about "a single mom whose aimless brother moves in to help her raise her baby." The single-camera effort, which has a penalty attached, is set up at 20th Century Fox Television-based Chernin Entertainment with Peter Chernin and Katherine Pope executive producing alongside Fox. THE BURIED LIFE (MTV) - The cable channel has pulled the plug on the inspirational reality series after two seasons. The Reveille-based show's most recent cycle (9/27/10-11/29/10) averaged just under 1.0 million viewers and a 0.5 rating among adults 18-49. Ben Nemtin, Dave Lingwood, Duncan Penn and Jonnie Penn were behind the half-hour project, in which they "put themselves in the most incredible and unexpected situations while traveling the country trying to complete a list of 100 things they want to do before they die, helping a perfect stranger accomplish one of their dreams" in the process. MASTERS & APPRENTICE (NBC, New!) - Dan Dworkin and Jay Beattie ("The Event") has booked a new drama at the Peacock about "a rookie FBI agent who enlists the aid of a legendary but mysterious former operative to help him infiltrate the shadowy group responsible for his parents' death." Said hour is set up at Universal Television with the studio-based Gail Berman, Lloyd Braun and Gene Stein of BermanBraun executive producing alongside the duo. (THR.com)


THE RED TENT (Lifetime, New!) - Anita Diamant's 1997 novel, which "looks back at a time in biblical history when women would gather in a tent to support each other in issues ranging from motherhood to local events," is being developed as a mini-series at the cable channel. Paula Weinstein ("Recount") is behind the project, which follows Dinah, "the daughter of Jacob and Leah, who eventually marries a prince and falls out with her murderous brother." The search is underway for a writer. (Variety.com)


UNTITLED JESSI KLEIN PROJECT (NBC, New!) - Jessi Klein ("Saturday Night Live") has set up a new single-camera comedy at the Peacock about "the vibrant yet fraught relationship that exists between fathers and daughters, as inspired by writer Klein's relationship with her colorful dad." Sony Pictures Television is behind the half-hour with Oliver Bridge Entertainment's Will Gluck and Mosaic Media's Jimmy Miller and Sam Hansen executive producing alongside Klein. (THR.com)


UNTITLED MICHAEL DILIBERTI PROJECT (NBC, New!) - Feature writer Michael Diliberti ("30 Minutes or Less") has sold a new comedy to the Peacock about "two sweet but colossally unfit young people who meet online and fall into a sudden, uncontrollable bout of true love, much to the disapproval of most everyone in their lives." The single-camera effort comes from 20th Century Fox Television, Reveille and Electric Dynamite with Jack Black, Carolyn Bernstein and Todd Cohen executive producing alongside Diliberti. (THR.com)


WISEGUY (NBC, New!) - Alexander Cary ("Lie to Me") is developing a revival of Stephen J. Cannell and Frank Lupo's 1980s drama, about "a disgraced former cop who, while serving time in prison, cuts a deal to work undercover for time off his sentence." 20th Century Fox Television-based Chernin Entertainment is behind the hour, which has a script commitment with a penalty attached. Peter Chernin and Katherine Pope then will executive produce alongside Cary. Ken Wahl toplined the original incarnation, which ran for four seasons on CBS and featured memorable turns by Kevin Spacey and Jerry Lewis. (Deadline.com)
