Christmas Comes a Little Early This Year, As ABC Comedies Celebrate the Season December 6 & 7

ABC's favorite funny families celebrate the season a little early this year with special holiday episodes TUESDAY, DECEMBER 6 and WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 7 on the ABC Television Network. Nick Jonas, Paul Hipp and Jay Mohr are among the guest stars on the holiday-themed episodes.

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 6

"Last Man Standing" --"Last Christmas Standing" (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET) - Mike's Christmas spirit gets dampened when Ryan (Nick Jonas), the father of Kristen's baby, unexpectedly comes back to town after a long absence. Kristin's boyfriend, Kyle, also doesn't know what to make of Ryan's return. Meanwhile, Ed hires Mandy as an elf at Outdoor Man, where she tries to unionize the other elves to get better perks. "Last Man Standing" stars Tim Allen as Mike, Nancy Travis, as Vanessa, Kaitlyn Dever as Eve, Molly Ephraim as Mandy, Alexandra Krosney as Kristin, Christoph Sanders as Kyle and Hector Elizondo as Ed. Guest stars are Nick Jonas as Ryan, Luke & Evan Kruntchev as Boyd, Natalie Distler as Debbie and Logan Kishi as Jack.

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 7

"The Middle" -- "A Christmas Gift" (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET) - On a tipsy whim - and against Mike's wishes - Frankie decides to throw a Christmas Eve party at the house; Mike buys Frankie a much needed new dishwasher for Christmas, but has a hard time keeping it a secret when she begs him to replace the old one before the party; Sue calls on Reverend TimTom (guest star Paul Hipp) to explain the meaning of Christmas to Brick when he reads the Bible and begins to question it; and Axl gets annoyed with Bob when he tries too hard to be cool in order to befriend him while working together on a Christmas tree lot. "The Middle" stars Patricia Heaton as Frankie, Neil Flynn as Mike, Charlie McDermott as Axl, Eden Sher as Sue and Atticus Shaffer as Brick. Guest starring are Chris Kattan as Bob Weaver, Paul Hipp as Reverend TimTom, Jen Ray as Nancy Donahue, Julie Brown as Paula Norwood, Pat Finn as Bill Norwood, Malcolm Foster Smith as Dave, Ginny McMath as Darrin's mom and Brianne Howey as Emily.

"Suburgatory" - "The Nutcracker" (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET) - When Tessa overhears George break up with his girlfriend, Zoe, on Skype, she blames herself for his failed relationship and decides that she's going to get them back together. Unbeknownst to her, though, George is really enamored with Tessa's cute art teacher, Aimee. He admits to Mr. Wolfe that he's over dating crazy city women, and that he's looking for love in the burbs. George decides to embrace the holiday spirit with a tree trimming party complete with ex-girlfriend, potential new girlfriend and the Royces, and he soon finds himself under the mistletoe with a special someone. "Suburgatory" stars Jeremy Sisto as George Altman, Jane Levy as Tessa Altman, Cheryl Hines as Dallas Royce, Alan Tudyk as Noah Werner, Carly Chaikin as Dalia Royce, Allie Grant as Lisa Shay and Rex Lee as Mr. Wolfe. "The Nutcracker" guest stars Ana Gasteyer as Sheila Shay, Gloria Votsis as Zoe, Ellen Woglom as Aimee, Edward Padilla as Javier, Jay Mohr as Steven Royce, Raymond Ma as Mr. Yee, Alice Lo as Mrs. Lee and Deena Dill as Bliss.

"Modern Family" -- "Express Christmas" (9:00-9:31 p.m., ET) - The family is gathered at Jay and Gloria's pool on a sunny December day, and that's where they realize that everyone will be scattered this coming Christmas, so if they want to celebrate together, then it will have to be today! Everyone sets off with their respective duties for Express Christmas - Mitchell, Alex and Lily get the tree, Jay and Cameron are in charge of gift wrapping, Phil and Manny get the groceries, Gloria and Luke go retrieve the ornaments, and Claire and Haley shop for all the gifts. When they all return in the evening, it's quite a sight. "Modern Family" stars Ed O'Neill as Jay, Julie Bowen as Claire, Ty Burrell as Phil, Sofia Vergara as Gloria, Jesse Tyler Ferguson as Mitchell, Eric Stonestreet as Cameron, Sarah Hyland as Haley, Nolan Gould as Luke, Ariel Winter as Alex, Rico Rodriguez as Manny and Aubrey Anderson-Emmons as Lily. Guest cast for "Express Christmas" includes Eric Peterson as Christmas Tree Salesman, Kamen Edwards as Hot Guy and Ron Roggé as Craigslist guy.

"Happy Endings" -- "Grinches Be Crazy" (9:31-10:00 p.m., ET) - Max, desperate for cash, agrees to dress up as Santa for Penny's charity event; Jane accidently gives housekeeper Gita (guest star Jamie Denbo) the envelope stuffed with money for their big Xmas getaway to Turks & Caicos, instead of the $200 Christmas tip she had planned -- and she schemes to get the cash back. "Happy Endings" stars Eliza Coupe as Jane, Elisha Cuthbert as Alex, Zachary Knighton as Dave, Adam Pally as Max, Damon Wayans, Jr. as Brad and Casey Wilson as Penny. "Grinches Be Crazy" guest stars Gary Kraus as Gary, Jamie Denbo as Gita, Connor Rosen as Joey, Jessica Brown as Leila, Alastair Ferrie as the mugger, Gary Anthony Williams as Officer Jones, Sayeed Shahidi as Oliver and Nakia Syvonne as Oliver's mom.
