FX SETS MIDSEASON PREMIERE DATES FOR ORIGINAL SERIES

New Animated Comedy Series Unsupervised Premieres Thursday, Jan. 19, 10:30 PM ET/PT

LOS ANGELES, November 28, 2011 - FX, basic cable's leader for scripted programming year-round, has announced release dates for two of its returning hits, as well as a brand new animated comedy series.

FX opens the new year with the return of the Emmy Award(R)-winning hit drama Justified on January 17, and will continue to run Tuesdays at 10 PM ET/PT. Starring Timothy Olyphant as "U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens," Justified is based on the works of crime novelist Elmore Leonard, including Leonard's short story Fire in the Hole. The end of Season 2 brought about the end of the Bennett family's hold over Harlan County and the return of Raylan's old nemesis/friend Boyd Crowder to the criminal life. This season, Boyd and his crew will find they aren't the only ones making a play to rule the Harlan underworld. Now Raylan finds himself facing off against dirty politics, hidden fortunes, a mysterious man named "Limehouse" and an enterprising and lethal criminal from the Motor City. Earlier this year, Justified was nominated for four Emmy Awards, with Margo Martindale taking home the statue for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. Developed by Graham Yost, who also wrote the pilot, Justified is Executive Produced by Yost, Leonard, Fred Golan, Sarah Timberman, Carl Beverly and Michael Dinner, who directed the pilot episode and others. Justified is produced by Sony Pictures Television and FX Productions.

FX's acclaimed animated series Archer returns for its third season starting January 19 and will air Thursdays at 10 PM ET/PT. Archer is an animated, half-hour comedy that revolves around the International Secret Intelligence Service (ISIS) and the lives of its employees. Although their work of espionage, reconnaissance missions, wiretapping and undercover surveillance is daunting and dangerous, every covert operation and global crisis is actually just another excuse for the ISIS staff to undermine, sabotage and betray each other for personal gain. Archer's three part series "Heart of Archness," which aired this past September, gained +26% in P18-49 (1.37 vs. 1.08 million), +34% in M18-49 (1.04 million vs. 775,000) and +12% in Total Viewers (1.72 vs. 1.53 million) over its second season.

FX will premiere its newest series with the animated comedy Unsupervised, which will premiere on January 19 at 10:30 ET/PT and will air immediately following Archer. Unsupervised is a comedy about optimistic best friends "Gary" and "Joel" navigating the harsh landscape of teenage life and trying to do what's right without any parental guidance whatsoever. The series was created by and is executive produced by Rob Rosell, Scott Marder and David Hornsby, all who currently serve as writer/producers on FX's hit comedy series It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. It features an outstanding voice cast including Justin Long, Kristen Bell, Fred Armisen, Romany Malco, Kaitlin Olson and Alexa Vega, along with Rosell and Hornsby. Unsupervised is produced by FX Productions, in association with RCG Productions and Floyd County. RCG is the team of Sunny Executive Producers/Writers/Stars Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton. The deal for Unsupervised is the first series order for RCG as part of their overall deal with FX Productions. The series will be animated by Archer Executive Producers Adam Reed and Matt Thompson.

FX is the flagship general entertainment basic cable network from the Fox Networks Group. Launched in June of 1994, FX is carried in more than 98 million homes.
