New York, NY (December 19, 2011) - MTV's Emmy Award-winning series "True Life" returns with all-new original episodes on Wednesday, December 28 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. Each new episode will give viewers a unique glimpse inside the lives of young people. From dysfunctional families, to dating issues, to medical drama, "True Life" is going deep inside these young people's lives to explore the realities they face.

The outrageous Theriot family is back for a second installment of "The Riot in the Bayou." Mama Tiff and her ragin'-Cajun kids stir up new troubles while navigating the rough waters of love and debauchery under the Louisiana sun. Sex, partying, and playing in the mud are a way of life for the Theriots, but their family bond comes under fire. This is the summer of new beginnings, and with this clan, anything's possible.

Last year, the squad finished fourth - which was considered to be a disaster. This year, losing is not an option, so they're kicking it up a notch and doing everything possible to reclaim their title.

Justin's traditional Persian parents have been pushing him to be a doctor for years, but Justin has his heart set on becoming a comedy writer. Carlos is hoping to support his daughter by making it big as a music producer and DJ. But his mother is insisting that he go to school and land steady work so he can start providing for his family now. Mom and dad want to call the shots - but do they really know best?

In a society that immortalizes six-pack abs, viewers will meet two young men with a preference for obese partners. Tee started dating big women after he got tired of heartache he encountered going out with their slimmer peers. He's found his dream girl but is starting to suspect she's not as drama-free as he'd hoped. Meanwhile, Justin loves the sense of security he gets from his super-sized boyfriend, Josh, but fears that his conservative parents will dismiss their relationship as a fetish. These self-proclaimed "chubby chasers" must overcome large hurdles in order to make their relationships work.

Kristyn is forced to move back in with her parents because her health care costs are spiraling out of control. Matthew is determined not to let the disease compromise his partying lifestyle at college - despite the fact that drinking alcohol is dangerous for diabetics. And Jen is finding it difficult to control her symptoms while pregnant -- which is putting her baby's life at risk.
