CMT'S TWO NEW ORIGINAL SERIES "BAYOU BILLIONAIRES" AND "MY BIG REDNECK VACATION" PREMIERE THIS SATURDAY BEGINNING AT 9:00 P.M., ET/PT

The Dowden and Clampet Families Bring a Comedy-Filled Night to CMT

NASHVILLE - January 17, 2012 - Two fun-loving and wildly entertaining Louisiana families are taking over Saturday nights on CMT when the new original series BAYOU BILLIONAIRES and MY BIG REDNECK VACATION premiere Saturday, January 21 beginning at 9:00 p.m., ET/PT.

The night kicks off with BAYOU BILLIONAIRES, following a hardworking family of modest means who recently discovered that their home sits on the fourth largest deposit of natural gas in the United States. After years of pinching pennies and balancing budgets, the over-the-top Dowdens are ready to enjoy the finer things in life, sparing no expense. In the series premiere episode, matriarch Kitten Dowden schedules a day for the whole family to check out the local country club in the hopes that they can gain membership to the upper crust of Shreveport. The Dowden's will decide if they're the right fit for this new swanky hangout.

MY BIG REDNECK VACATION, hosted by comedian Tom Arnold, premieres at 9:30 p.m., ET/PT. The one-hour show follows the real-life, naturally-entertaining extended Clampet family, born and raised in the South, as they embark on a "fish out of water" experience by visiting a fancy beach rental in the Hamptons for the summer. In the series premiere, the family arrives at their multi-million dollar summer rental home ready to experience their summer vacation in fine style. Before they are ready to settle in though, they must adjust the mansion to their liking by replacing expensive wall art with mounted deer heads and holding a bow-and-arrow shooting contest to determine which couple wins the master bedroom for the summer. Even shopping for food is like an expedition in a foreign land as they question their local butcher where they can find rattlesnake to grill.

BAYOU BILLIONAIRES is produced by Magilla Entertainment. Brian Flanagan, Matt Ostrom, Laura Palumbo Johnson and Brad Johnson serve as executive producers. Eliot Goldberg and Jayson Dinsmore serve as executive producers for CMT.

MY BIG REDNECK VACATION is produced by Pink Sneakers. Kimberly Belcher Cowin, John Ehrhard, Brad Johnson, Lewis Bogach (CMT) and Jayson Dinsmore (CMT) serve as executive producers.
